400 FREESTYLE RELAY TEAM OF TYLER HILL (11), LOGAN HECK (10), REED WHEELER (10), AND MICHAEL BLINN (11)- became Lake Norman’s first 2-time defending State Champs (in any sport) when they won the 400 Freestyle Relay for the second year in a row at the 4A State Championships in Cary on Thursday evening. This foursome also became Lake Norman’s first automatic All-American qualifiers.
Their combined performances allowed Lake Norman’s boys to finish 3rd overall, only 4 points out of 2nd place (defending 4A State Champ North Meck), and only 1 point ahead of 3rd place (South Meck).
